Denola M. Burton is the Founder and CEO of Enhanced DNA: Develop Nurture Achieve, LLC. Through Enhanced DNA, Denola develops and nurtures individuals and organizations by enhancing their Leadership, Communication and Performance DNA and assists them in achieving success in their careers.
Our conversation revolves around Denola's first book entitled If You Really Knew Me - The Life, The Lessons and The Legacy. Denola's legacy is quite strong, and she took the time to share her story with us.
Denola holds a Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Biology and after beginning her career as a scientist, she transitioned into Human Resources at Eli Lilly and Company where she began to live her passion! Denola retired from Eli Lilly and Company after 27 years of service but continues to make a difference in the lives of others through her workshops, as an author and as an independent publisher. Eric Richards has spent the better part of the past decade making quite a name for himself in the Indianapolis Not-for-Profit scene. Before heading up Cancer Support Community Central Indiana, Eric was VP of Development and Communications for Little Red Door Cancer Agency.
CSC's signature fundraiser is "Laughing Matters," which next year features the very funny Nick Offerman of Parks and Recreation fame. Cancer, of course, is "no laughing matter," but this one night of comedy provides a much-needed financial and emotional lift to the organization.
When Eric isn't busy fundraising for cancer initiatives, he pours his heart and soul into his music. Eric has been a live musician performing around Indianapolis for years with the band Frayed Edges.
